Allerton Community Agency & The Coops Tenant Association are community-driven organizations dedicated to empowering residents, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating positive change through engagement, advocacy, education, and service. We work to bring neighbors together, address community concerns, support tenant rights, encourage civic participation, and create opportunities that improve the quality of life for all residents.
Our goal is to build a stronger, safer, and more connected community where every voice is heard, every resident is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to make a positive impact.

Why is community engagement important?
Community engagement is the foundation of positive change. When residents come together, share their ideas, voice their concerns, and work toward common goals, communities become stronger, safer, and more connected.
At Allerton Community Agency and The Coops Tenant Association we believe that lasting solutions come from the people who live, work, and raise their families in the community. Community engagement gives residents the opportunity to have a voice in decisions that affect their daily lives, identify neighborhood priorities, and work collectively to create meaningful improvements.
Through meetings, surveys, petitions, volunteer opportunities, community events, and advocacy efforts, residents can help address issues such as housing concerns, neighborhood safety, youth programs, cleanliness, community resources, and quality-of-life improvements.
When people are engaged, they become informed. When they are informed, they become empowered. And when they are empowered, they can help create the positive change they want to see in their community.

The Coops Tenant Association is a resident-led organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for tenants and families within our community. We work to ensure that residents have a voice in decisions that affect their homes, neighborhoods, and future.
Community Warriors
The CW Movement is a community-driven initiative focused on bringing people together to create positive change through action, engagement, and unity. Our movement empowers residents to become active voices in their community by participating in meetings, surveys, petitions, volunteer opportunities, and neighborhood improvement projects.
